This is my latest outdoor item I have created. Based on a Campanular flower which was growing near my home. Consisting of 3 Copper flower heads mounted to mild steel stems. Four Stainless steel leaves have been placed to try and emulate a natural look.
The base of the item is a ground spike to allow placement in a grass lawn, flower bed or plant pot.
Each piece has been lacquered to protect its colour and shine for as long as possible.
You may notice the outdoor versions are alot cheaper than the indoor. This is mainly becasue these use older materials. The indoor versions are also far more detailed which takes more time.
Even though I do my very best to protect the steel from rusting with lacquer, this is only temporary. I have learned from many people in the paint industry, that even with the best preparation, rust spots and lines will still form under clear coat lacquer. I beat myself up over this issue. I have had to come to terms with it as a unavoidable situation.

I got one of these for my birthday and loved it so much I bought another for my brothers golden wedding anniversary. I shall be buying many more items
