Even though I do my very best to protect the steel from rusting with lacquer, this is only temporary. I have learned from many people in the paint industry, that even with the best preparation, rust spots and lines will still form under clear coat lacquer. I beat myself up over this issue. I have had to come to terms with it as a unavoidable situation.

I bought this along with the butterfly and fern for my wife for her birthday having previously purchased the small eternal rose and my wife was delighted with it. I have now purchased another one for my daughter.
