I love these pieces because each offers something new in the way the light hits the colours of the rose head. I aim to produce purples and reds from the copper. Blues and pinks may also be seen.

Each rose base, Stem and Leaves have been laquered to protect the shine of the item. The Rose head has been left untreated to preserve the colours.
*Do not use cleaning products on the rose head as this may damage/remove the colouring*
Even though I do my very best to protect the steel from rusting with lacquer, this is only temporary. I have learned from many people in the paint industry, that even with the best preparation, rust spots and lines will still form under clear coat lacquer. I beat myself up over this issue. I have had to come to terms with it as a unavoidable situation.
The rose comes complete with a furniture protecting pad underneath.
