My small Steel Rose with bronze highlights has been lifted to give a different perspecitive. adding a gentle curve to the stem allows the item to be displayed in a lower position to be able to view from top down.
This rose is where it all started for me. An adaption of the my first design. These have proven to be one of my most popular items, purchased either for the customers own, or the perfect gift.
These rose's are lacquered to protect their finish. complete with furniture protecting pad.

Even though I do my very best to protect the steel from rusting with lacquer, this is only temporary. I have learned from many people in the paint industry, that even with the best preparation, rust spots and lines will still form under clear coat lacquer. I beat myself up over this issue. I have had to come to terms with it as a unavoidable situation.

This is my first sculpture from LS Metalcrafts after seeing the TV Show featuring Lindon's work.
